Hello!

I'm Bhargavi Raman

Expressive Arts Therapist and Mental Health Educator

About me

I am passionate about making accessible the vast set of tools and frameworks from expressive arts therapy, somatic psychology, trauma work, and mindfulness to enable inner work. These are tools I have learnt over a decade, as a seeker, an arts practitioner, facilitator and therapist.

I have conducted over 2000 hours of individual personal therapy, and 1200+ hours of group work, under professional supervision, and have over 10 years of experience in facilitation and experiential learning. I have learnt from and trained under several impactful teachers and trainers (see below).

I have personally worked with these tools towards understanding and healing my own pain, learning to be more compassionate towards myself, and deepening self-awareness, presence and connection.

In my practice, I integrate expressive arts therapy with body-based practices, creating space for deep listening, creative exploration, and sustainable change. I offer individual and group therapy sessions, online and in-person in Bangalore, India.

I work primarily with adults and older adolescents navigating trauma, identity, and emotional overwhelm, including LGBTQIA+ individuals, and those from marginalized caste and class backgrounds.

Each time I enter my body and listen to it, when I share my pain in paint, when I move to release, or write to integrate: some part of me always heals and integrates. I am called to show you some of the ways I have found.
